MISSION
Our mission is to provide two important services for veterans.
Meal Program…
Since 2016 our core group of directors and volunteers provided free meals and food to veterans and their families at our coffee house. This year we changed our meal program by providing meal passes at Mary’s Place restaurant, 2512 N. Richmond St., Appleton on the 1st Saturday of the month at 3pm. We welcome new attendees. Wisconsin Vietnam Veterans Wall Project…
We dedicated the “Wall” on April 30, 2025 marking the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War and to honor and recognize the 1,249 Wisconsin Vietnam veterans who died in Vietnam. The public is invited to view the “Wall” at any time at no cost. It is located at 2508 N. Richmond Street, Appleton. The “Wall” has 17 large panels with a “Face for Every Name”.
All donations support our meal program and maintenance costs of the “Wall”. Donations are made payable to Vets & Friends Coffee House, Inc. and mailed to 2508 N. Richmond Street, Appleton, Wi 54911.
